INTRODUCTION

In ultra thin type pressure sensors ('MP' Series), you can select, according to the purpose of your applications, leadwire drawing out directions either vertical against the pressure sensing surface (Model MPA or MPB) or horizontal against the pressure sensing surface (Model MPC). Due to the limitations from the requirement for miniaturizaton, the extremely thin single copper leadwires used in MP Series had some time ago to be handled very carefully, especially in Models MPB and MPC. The product given in the photograph in this data sheet shows some useful means to avoid cutting off of the thin leadwire by mounting a flexible board on it taking an example on Model MPC Pressure Sensor. The sensor with this flexible board mounted is produced only on special order placed with Part number reading "HV-**-556". Its purpose of applications will be finger pressure sensibility measurements and so on.
